On September 20, 2024, the Shanghai Nanjing Plus delegation started the third day of its visit in Wuhan. The delegation first visited the East Lake Greenway, located in Wuhan East Lake Scenic Area. Members of the delegation enjoyed the beautiful scenery of East Lake and learned about the ecological protection and system restoration efforts of the scenic area.

It is reported that the planning and design of the East Lake Greenway focused on ecological restoration, making it a priority. Not only does it allow citizens to enjoy a "world-class slow-paced lifestyle," but it also includes 13 biological corridors to protect the habitats of hundreds of species of wild vertebrates.

Along the way, the delegation members frequently took photos and were full of praise for the overall design of the greenway, expressing that the event allowed them to experience the gifts of nature and the green achievements of urban ecological construction.
Before leaving Wuhan, the delegation visited the Hubei Provincial Museum, where they gained a comprehensive understanding of the origins, development, and characteristics of Jingchu culture through the museum's rich collection of exhibits.

In the evening, by taking the high-speed train, the delegation arrived at Nanjing, where they will continue to explore diverse perspectives on China-U.S. relations.
