The Delegation of the Australian Embassy in China Visits HNC

On November 19th, 2024, Jessica Tang, First Secretary of the Australian Embassy in China, and Jordan Aitken, Consul of the Australian Consulate General in Shanghai, visited the Johns Hopkins University-Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies (HNC for short). Li Xiaorong and Adam K Webb, the Chinese and the American Co-Directors of HNC, respectively, received the delegation from the Australian Embassy in China. Professor David Arase of International Politics also participated in the exchange activities.



The two directors extended their welcome to the delegation from the Australian Embassy in China and introduced HNC’s educational research and running situation. Jessica Tang and Jordan Aitken shared their experiences and insights in their diplomatic work. Subsequently, the two sides conducted exchanges on the current educational exchanges between China and the United States and Australia, as well as the cooperation and development situations in fields such as economy, trade, and agriculture between various regions in China and neighboring countries and regions.
