On March 20, 2025, a group of students from the University of Nagoya Law School in Japan, led by Professor Udagawa Yukinori, visited the Hopkins-Nanjing Center (HNC).
During their visit, they were accompanied by American Co-Director Prof. Adam K. Webb and Deputy Director Sun Wen. The group toured the campus, including the library and student lounge. Following the tour, they engaged in discussions with HNC leadership and students.
Professors Webb and Sun welcomed the visitors and provided an overview of HNC's long history and development, highlighting its various programs and unique academic resources. They encouraged the students from the University of Nagoya Law School to consider attending HNC in the future. The discussions also covered legal professions in Japan and China, as well as the impact of AI on legal studies.
In expressing gratitude for HNC's hospitality, Professor Udagawa noted that this was the first time these students had visited China and expressed hope for continued interaction with HNC in the future.
