
Prof. Hua Zhang is full Professor of International Law in Faculty of Law at Nanjing University, where he works as PhD supervisor, and teaches public international law and EU law for law faculty students. He owned PhD degree in international law from the Institute for International Law of Wuhan University in June 2009. Since July 2009. he has been working at Nanjing University. His research work is focused on the fundamental principles of public international law, international law of the sea, cyber international law, and EU external relations law. He has published widely in the field of international law, including two monographs, and over fifty journal articles and book chapters in both Chinese and English. Prof. Hua Zhang once worked as visiting scholar at University of Cambridge (Lauterpacht Centre for International Law, 2013–2014), University of Göttingen (Institute for International and European Law, 2011), and University of Manchester (School of Law, 2007).
Prof. Hua Zhang is also working as adjunct Professor of International law in Johns Hopkins University & Nanjing University Centre for Chinese and American Studies, where he teaches the general course on public international law for both Chinese and international students. He is member of Chinese Society of International Law, and Chinese Society of European Legal Studies.
