Afterwards, the delegation visited the Columbia Circle to investigate the case of urban renewal and the integration of fashion and creativity in Changning District. The "green, low-carbon, and nature-friendly" design concept of the Columbia Circle attracted everyone's attention, and the scholars were very interested in the attempts to integrate new culture, new business, and new creativity within the spaces of old buildings.

In the afternoon, the delegation visited the Shanghai Waigaoqiao NO.3 Power Generation Co., Ltd. and held discussions with the staff. During the visit, the scholars learned that not only is Shanghai Waigaoqiao NO.3 Power Generation Co., Ltd. a benchmark for China in the global thermal power sector, but Shanghai has also been exploring the development of renewable resources and actively making plans in wind power and photovoltaic sectors. Then, the delegation exchanged views with the staff on issues such as the diversified development of clean energy, carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, and enterprise development and transformation.

As night fell, the scholars ended their day with a night tour of Huangpu River. From the century-old buildings of the Bund to the skyscrapers of Lujiazui, the delegation felt the collision and fusion of Eastern and Western cultures on the Huangpu River.
