Zhou Changzheng received his LL.B. degree from Xiamen University School of Political Science and Law in 1993, LL.M. from Peking University Law School in 1998, and J.D. from Peking University Law School in 2001. His main research areas are economic law, labor law, social security law, etc. He has published two monographs, edited two collections of papers, translated one book, participated in the compilation of nine books, and published more than a dozen papers. In December 2004, his monograph "A Study on The Impacts of Globalization upon China's Labor Law" (Nanjing University Press, 2003) won the "First Prize of Outstanding Scientific Research Achievements of the 10th Anniversary of Labor Law" issued by the China Labor Law Research Association, and in January 2006, he won the second prize of the 9th Philosophy and Social Science Achievements of Jiangsu Province. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Oslo, Norway in 2004, a special scholarship in Canadian studies (SACS) from the Government of Canada in May 2006, and a visiting scholar at Harvard Yenching Institute in 2006-2007.
